This is a fresh, sweet, salty salad—a colorful version of a watermelon feta salad but with a twist. The fresh and soft feta cheese adds a gorgeous texture and contrast to an otherwise sweet melon salad. Summer is all about the sweet bounty of nature. There is so much beauty in the grocery stores that it’s difficult not to be inspired. You can use any in-season melons here. How to make melon balls

All you need is a melon baller or a sharp-edged teaspoon measurement spoon. It’s so much fun scooping out the melons with it. Dip the melon baller completely into the melon and then twist to get a perfect melon ball. We go through a lot of watermelons in the summer. We eat it by itself with a sprinkle of tajin, make watermelon punch, and watermelon mojitos! It’s one of our favorite fruits ever!

Serving & Storing

Melons do not last longer than a couple of days once opened. Ideally, it would be best if you ate this salad within a few hours of making it. The salt from the dressing and the cheese will draw out the water from it. So I add them just a few minutes before I serve.
