Its a Breast Cancer Awareness month all over the world. UK Cancer Society uses this period to raise awareness of the diseases and raise funds for research into its cause, prevention and cure. This is the month, where the community wear Pinks, float the signature pink ribbons, hosts a pink parade since it was first introduced back in 1991. Eiffel Tower was lit up in a rosy pink light to symbolise support. So did the US army with the Pink Camouflaged uniform . I thought of doing my bit as well to help raise awareness and drive the fundraising efforts by focusing on the importance and value of friendships during Pinktober. Friendship is one of the most precious assets in our life, in celebrating times and in times of adversity.
There are days, we spend exchanging images of our recent shoots , trying to get an honest feedback , rather than it is fantastic all the time ( which a lot of people comment on social network for the heck of it) . Giving advice in friendship can be challenging. But to take it in the right spirits in more important . Good friends always transcend selfish motives and gains.
