Our family can’t get over how much we love this recipe. My husband and I aren’t exactly chicken nugget fans, but it is always a home run for the kids. While we are working with really simple ingredients in this recipe, the flavor of the cheese, basil, and garlic combine perfectly. You are left with crispy and delicious little nuggets.
How to Make Chicken Nuggets
What Type of Chicken to Use
For this recipe, I recommend chicken breasts. But you can also use chicken tenderloins. They are already strips, making for less dicing.
Baked Chicken Nuggets
Baking chicken nuggets instead of frying them is a great way to cut calories. And these nuggets are just as delicious baked. Baking them on the wire rack allows them to crisp up while still making them in the oven. It is a low maintenance way to ensure they are the texture you are looking for. Sauce for Dipping Chicken Nuggets These are great with ketchup, but I loved them the most with our homemade BBQ sauce. Two other great sauces for dipping are Chick Fil Sauce and Ranch Dressing.

While my wire rack method is pretty fool proof, I you want to make these in the air fryer you can! We love our Air Fryer Chicken Tenders.
