So I actually didn’t start drinking coffee until I had Gavin . . . just a little less than 8 years ago. I started out small, literally. A super small coffee maker that just made like two cups of coffee. But then, you know, mo babies mo problems, and I needed more caffeine than that. So I got a big girl coffee maker. And started drinking the WHOLE pot . . . . daily. It occurred to me that {cough} that might not be the most healthy thing in the world {cough}. So I decided that I would be better off with a coffee system that made just a single cup. And that’s what I’ve been using since. Until . . . . I stumbled upon this beauty. You guys, I met the amazing people at Ninja at a blogging food conference (BlogHer) that I went to last month and learned all about how this coffee system, The Ninja Coffee Bar, is so different than all the others out there. It uses multiple spouts to truly saturate the beans. You guys. The Ninja makes the best strongest cup of coffee I have ever had. No joke. I’m seriously telling everyone about it. I’m not typically one to push a particular this or that, but this is completely different. Can I tell you all the reasons I love it? (And you should know that Ninja really just asked me to review it, they didn’t compensate me in any other way . . . though of course, anything you read here is always 100% my own opinions). First, it can make just a single cup of coffee . . . but with absolutely no waste. I just throw my grounds right in there and then rinse out the filter when I’m done. And that single cup of coffee knocks my socks off every. single. day. Second, I can also make a whole pot if I want . . . or a half pot, or a travel mug size. Guys. That’s FOUR sizes. Finally, did I mention how good the coffee is?? Seriously. I had no idea how crappy my coffee was before I started using my Ninja. It is for sure replacing my current system. One more thing . . . there’s this great little setting (the bottom button on the picture above) on it that allows you to make what would be like an espresso. It brews about 1/4 cup of the strongest coffee you have ever laid eyes on. I used that setting to create these amazing brownies. If you don’t like coffee, you will still really love these brownies. They don’t taste like coffee, rather the espresso just deepens the flavor of the brownies making them the richest most fudgey brownies you will ever sink your teeth into. You guys HAVE to make them! And if you are buying for a coffee lover this holiday season, you HAVE to get them The Ninja Coffee Bar! They will LOVE it! I’ve already convinced my sister-in-law to buy one ;) You might also like: World’s Best Caramel Brownies Mint Chocolate Brownies
