How to make Crack Chicken in Instant Pot

It’s super simple!

Step 1: Pressure cook

Add broth, chicken, and Italian seasoning in the instant pot and pressure cook on high pressure for 8 minutes. This will make this chicken super soft and shreddable.

Step 2: Shred & Saute

Remove the chicken from the pot and shred it using two forks. Another easy way to do this is in the stand mixer or hand mixer. Press cancel and then press the saute button. Put the chicken back in the pot with the cheese, spring onions, ranch seasoning, hot sauce, and cream cheese. Use a sturdy spatula or a long ladle to give it a good mix. Add the bacon, reserving a tablespoon of it for garnish. Reduce the liquid until the consistency is slightly wetter than you prefer. Crack chicken tends to thicken considerably as it cools.

Boil the chicken breast in chicken stock till the chicken is cooked through and shreddable. Drain the liquid and shred the chicken. Storing Crack Chicken

This creamy crack chicken can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 4-5 days. It also freezes beautifully. You can flat freeze it in a freezer bag or freeze individual portions in an ice cube tray. Just microwave to use.
