There’s no easier (or healthier) way to add a lot of flavor to dishes than the use of spices for a very flavorful side dish. I actually make my own Indian spice blend to have on hand to add to vegetable for roasting like my Indian spiced acorn squash. Frozen peas are so versatile because you can prepare them all year round. I like to take them to the next level by adding healthy ingredients, spices and herbs. This is a great way to change up your usual vegetable dish and stay on track with healthy eating. You could also add any frozen vegetables you like to these peas like, carrots or corn. I like to add red pepper. These peas were part of a full Indian meal of Chicken Tikka Masala, Indian Dal and Easy Homemade Naan Bread. See picture above. The next time spring comes around, take advantage of the fresh, seasonal peas and make this dish. If you’ve tried these Indian Spiced Peas or any other recipe on the blog then don’t forget to rate the recipe and let me know how it turned out in the comments below. I love to hear from my readers!
