A few weeks ago I shared my Deviled Eggs recipe with my Facebook friends and talked about my secret ingredient to make them extra delicious. Everyone started chiming in with the ingredients they use to set their deviled eggs apart. Two ideas stood out to me above the rest. The first was adding cream cheese to the filling and the second was to make Everything Bagel Deviled Eggs. The two ideas work perfect together! In this recipe we are taking the cream cheese from an everything bagel and adding it to the filling with salt and garlic – my two favorite flavors from the seasoning. At the end we put some Everything Bagel Seasoning on top. What you are left with is the perfect spin on a deviled egg.

Tips and Tricks for Deviled Eggs
There are a few tricks that help Deviled Eggs turn out perfect.
Leaving the egg carton on it’s side in the refrigerator for a day will help the yolks center in the white. This will make it less likely that the white will rip when you are taking out the yolks and refilling the whites.Fresh eggs are best for deviled eggs. As eggs age, the fibers that hold the yolk in the middle start to break down. The older the egg is the less likely that yolk will be centered.Older eggs are easier to peel. If you don’t care about your yolks being centered and are more worried about peeling than egg whites tearing, go with older eggs. They are easier to peel after hard boiling.Make your hard boiled eggs in the Instant Pot. The absolute best way to get eggs that peel like a dream is to make them in the Instant Pot. I have made so many hard boiled eggs both ways, and I hands down prefer Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs.
Making Ahead
Deviled eggs can be made two days in advance. I recommend with this recipe that you wait to top them with the seasoning until right before serving. Both the poppy seeds and the black sesame seeds can and will stain the whites of the egg making them less attractive if they sit around.
