Similar to an Arnold Palmer Ice Tea

Are you familiar with an Arnold Palmer iced tea (it’s regular black tea and lemonade)? This is my British twist on an American classic drink.  Earl Grey tea has been around since the 1830’s and it’s the first drink I crave when I’m back in England. Earl Grey has floral and orange flavors in the tea so it seems like the perfect flavor pairing with tart lemonade.

Spiked Lemonade

This lemonade is perfect for long summer days, but it can also be taken into the evening by spiking it with a little vodka to give you the option to spike, if you like. I love making drinks using tea. I’ve previously made an Earl Grey ginger spritzer which is so refreshing with a fizzy finish from ginger beer. This drink is also non-alcoholic. In the warm weather, I always have a pitcher of iced tea in the fridge. This summer, I’ll be keeping a pitcher of this Earl Grey lemonade, my new favorite.  If you’ve tried this Earl Grey Lemonade or any other recipe on the blog then don’t forget to rate the recipe and let me know how it turned out in the comments below. I love to hear from my readers!
