This mediterranean inspired recipe is so easy and it will take you only minutes using your food processor or blender. Whipped with tangy feta, Greek yogurt, cucumber and fresh herbs like dill and mint. This sauce evolved from Indian raita (also a creamy cucumber based yogurt sauce) that is used in Indian cuisine to cool the palate after eating spicy dishes.  After the Greeks tasted the sauce in India, they liked it so much (even though their food is not spicy) they decided to make their own delicious variation, using Greek yogurt to serve with their dishes. The name is from the Turkish word cacik. There are so many ways to serve this gluten free sauce. Drizzle it on a Gyro, dip your falafel or spread it on a sandwich. I may have “accidentally” dipped fries in it once and was very happy about it! Not a fan of Greek yogurt? You can substitute sour cream for the same delicious result.
