This Christmas punch has been my favorite holiday drink for years, it even became a family tradition. I serve it up in a large punch bowl, and extra ice on the side for the family or friends to help themselves at Christmas parties. I love that it’s fruity, not overly sweet, and it’s sparkly which makes it festive and beautiful. Looking for more holiday drinks? Ingredients In Christmas Punch
Here’s what you need to make this delicious cranberry punch: Complete list of ingredients and amounts can be found in the recipe card below.
Cranberry Juice: You can either go for cranberry juice blend (not cranberry cocktail), or cranberry pomegranate juice. I like Ocean Spray brand. Pineapple Juice: To add some sweetness and fruitiness, I add Dole pineapple juice (not canned). If you don’t like pineapple, use orange juice instead. Extracts: To add some holiday flavor to your punch, add a splash of pure vanilla extract or almond extract. Soda: I used Sprite lemon-lime soda, but you can do ginger ale like Canada Dry, or go for Sierra Mist. Garnishes: I like to slice up an orange and a lime, and add either fresh cranberries or pomegranate arils (I prefer pomegranate), and some fresh mint leaves or rosemary sprigs. Ice: You will also need some ice cubes to keep the punch nice and cold.
How To Make Christmas Punch
Recipe Tips
Use Chilled Ingredients. I always make sure to put all of the juices and soda in the fridge for at least a few hours before making this punch. This way, you’ll be adding less ice and your punch won’t be watered down. Making Ahead. If you want to make this ahead, you can mix everything up except for the soda and the ice a few hours before your party.
