Ingredients Needed

Here’s what you’ll need to make these chicken caesar wraps: Complete list of ingredients and amounts can be found in the recipe card below.

Dressing: Making your own Caesar dressing from scratch is easy and tastes much better than store-bought. Give my recipe a try for a fresher flavor, it has lemon juice, parmesan, garlic, anchovies and mayo. If you’re short on time, store-bought Caesar dressing is a convenient alternative. Tortillas: Use your favorite tortillas. I prefer extra soft wheat tortillas, but whole wheat tortillas are a great option too if you want a healthier choice. Cooked chicken: Grilled chicken, air fried chicken, baked chicken, rotisserie chicken, shredded chicken, use whatever you have on hand! The chicken that you see in my pictures is chicken breast that was cooked on a grill pan. Croutons: Homemade, or store-bought. I prefer garlic croutons, they add more flavor to the wraps. Check out my classic Caesar salad recipe to learn how to make homemade croutons. So simple and quick! If you have an air fryer, try my easy air fryer croutons recipe. Parmesan cheese: a Caesar salad essential. Skip the pre-shredded stuff and grate your own parmesan, it tastes so much better. Lettuce: Romaine hearts are ideal because they stay crispy and don’t get soggy with dressing. If romaine isn’t available, iceberg lettuce is a good alternative. Cherry tomatoes: optional but add a great texture, flavor, and color to the wraps.

How to Make Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap

Storing, Packing Lunch, and Making Ahead Tips.

If you plan on making these chicken wraps ahead of time, store them in the refrigerator in a sealed container or wrap each one individually in foil. They will stay fresh for up to 3 days. For best results, store the dressing separately and add it just before eating to keep the wraps from getting soggy. You can enjoy them cold or at room temperature. These chicken Caesar wraps are perfect for packed lunches, lunch boxes, picnics, or lunch on the go. To keep them fresh, pack the wraps with an ice pack if they will be out of the fridge for a while. They make a convenient and tasty option for any meal away from home.

Recipe Success Tips

Choose Fresh Ingredients: Use the freshest ingredients possible for the best flavor and texture in these sandwiches. Freshly cooked chicken, crisp lettuce, and ripe cherry tomatoes make a big difference. Keep Ingredients Separate: If you’re not eating the wraps immediately, keep the dressing and croutons separate until you’re ready to eat. This prevents the wraps from becoming soggy. Warm the Tortillas: Warm the tortillas in the microwave for 8-10 seconds before assembling the wraps. This makes them more pliable and easier to roll. Secure the Wraps: Use toothpicks to hold the wraps together, especially if you’re packing them for later. This helps them maintain their shape. Add Dressing Last: When packing for lunch, keep the dressing in a small container and add it right before eating to keep the wraps fresh.

Additional Ingredients:

Avocado: Add sliced or mashed avocado for extra creaminess and flavor. Dijon Mustard: Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on the tortilla for a tangy kick. Black Pepper: Sprinkle freshly ground black pepper over the filling for a bit of heat. Toasted Breadcrumbs or Panko: Use these instead of croutons for a different kind of crunch. Toast them with olive oil before adding to the salad mixture. Cucumbers: Add thinly sliced cucumbers for a refreshing crunch. Bacon: Crumble cooked bacon into the wrap for a smoky flavor.
