Birthday Cake White Chocolate Bark is another, and possibly my favorite, in my ever expanding bark family. Bark is one of those fun desserts that is super easy to make and always gets devoured. My whole family is obsessed with my Mint Oreo Bark. Next time you are hosting a gathering, make up a batch of this easy and delicious treat.
Birthday Cake Oreos
When this post was first written, birthday cake Oreos came in both chocolate and golden. The golden ones were frankly the greatest thing ever made. I haven’t been able to find them in some time. You can make these with chocolate birthday cake Oreos, though the results might not be as visually appealing. Or, you can make these with plain golden Oreos as it will get a lot of the birthday cake flavor from the cake mix. It is important to note that white chocolate is very particular in how it is handled. If it gets even a drop of moisture in it, it can seize up and go from smooth and delicious to really difficult to work with. Make sure the bowl you melt it in is very dry. You can definitely use a double boiler to melt it, but it increases the risk of moisture getting in. It tends to be best to follow the microwaving instructions on the package. It is also important to not overheat it. You want to microwave it for as minimal amount of time as possible. A lot of stirring in between microwaving will help things a long and prevent overheating.
