Our kids absolutely love bacon. It is such an occasional weekend treat for them. And with this great easy way to make bacon, even our kids can cook it up. There is no splattering of bacon grease or standing over the stovetop flipping strips of bacon, making it a great recipe for a brunch or any day of the week!

Using Thick Cut Bacon

If you’re using thick cut bacon, you’ll need to adjust the temperature and the cooking time. To bake thick bacon, preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake for 14-16 minutes, rotating the pan and flipping the slices of bacon halfway through until it reaches your desired doneness.

Storing and Reheating Leftovers

Store any leftover oven-baked bacon in the fridge in an airtight container for up to four days. Reheat leftover bacon in the microwave, air fryer, or on a skillet over low heat until heated through.
