Don’t tell child me, but I absolutely love Brussels sprouts now! There are so many delicious things you can do with them, but this simple side dish should be at the top of your list. With just a handful of ingredients, you can create a winner side. This is perfect for busy weeknights, but would totally work for a holiday table too.
Storing and Reheating Leftover Brussels Sprouts
Store any leftover Brussels sprouts in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat only the portion you plan to eat in the air fryer for a few minutes until heated through. Always use your best discretion when reheating and eating leftovers.
Wash and trim the Brussels sprouts. While your air fryer is preheating, wash your sprouts, remove any wilted leaves, and trim just the end of the stem. Combine the sprouts with the oil and seasonings. Mix together the Brussels sprouts, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes in a large bowl so the sprouts are well coated. Air fry the Brussels sprouts. Place the Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes until the sprouts are tender. Keep a close eye on them so they don’t get too crispy. Top with Parmesan cheese. Take the cooked Brussels sprouts out of the air fryer and toss with Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
Wash the sprouts to remove any dirt and debris. Remove any ugly-looking outer leaves and trim just the end of the stem. Cut the Brussels sprouts in half if they are large.
