Fresh homemade juice beats carton juices any day! This Juice also works perfect for Halloween morning – isn’t it?
ABOUT THIS RECIPE – APPLE BEET CARROT JUICE
I love making fresh juices with seasonal vegetables and fruits, and this combo works perfectly. Just like the Apple Celery Juice and Orange Carrot Ginger Juice, this recipe is a hit. Thanks to the apple tree in my garden, this apple beet carrot juice has become a summer staple! With all the apples I harvest, I also like to make easy apple butter and store it in the freezer. I have to admit, my husband and I are addicted to this simple beet juice! My kids even call it “Healthy Halloween Juice!” This immune-boosting juice is slightly sweet with a perfect balance of flavors. Adding one green apple cuts down the sweetness with its tartness. A squeeze of fresh lemon juice adds the perfect zing and enhances the flavors. Occasionally, I like to add ginger for a spicy, warm flavor in my Beet Carrot Apple Ginger Juice, but that’s optional
How to Make this Immune-Boosting Beet Carrot Apple Juice?
What if I told you this juice is as easy to make as a smoothie? First, peel the beetroots and carrots, then chop them roughly into chunks along with the apples. There are two ways to make this juice: using a slow juicer or a blender. Slow Juicer: To make this juice in a slow juicer, simply push the sliced apples, beets, and carrots through the feeding tube. The juice will come out of the vent, and the pulp will be collected through the extractor end. Mixer Grinder / High-Speed Blender: Place all the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Add water or apple juice as needed to help it blend. Pass the mixture through a strainer. Alternatively, you can use a fine sieve, cheesecloth, or nut milk bag placed over a bowl. Press down with a spatula to squeeze all the juice out and collect the pulp in the sieve. You may need to do this in batches to avoid a mess. Don’t discard the pulp mixture! Save it in a container to make flatbread or falafels. They are delicious. Finally, transfer the juice to glasses, add ice cubes as needed, and serve.
Slow Juicer vs. High-Speed Blender – Which One is Better?
I own both a slow juicer and a high-speed blender, and let me tell you, they are both fantastic kitchen gadgets. You need considerable space to store these gadgets, so if you want to multitask with just one, go for the high-speed blender. I like juicing with a slow juicer because you don’t have to filter the juice through a sieve or nut milk bag. The pulp is discarded on one end, while the juice comes out from another spout, conveniently fitted with a cap. I love my Panasonic MJ 500 and have been using it for the last six years. You can read more about it in this slow juicer post.

Beets are low in calories with absolutely no fat. The fiber in beetroot reduces appetite and creates a feeling of fullness, which helps in blasting belly fat and aiding weight loss For the best results, drink this immune-boosting Beet and Carrot Juice fresh, as the nutrients tend to diminish over time.
Should I discard the fruit pulp after juicing?
Juicing quickly extracts essential nutrients from fruits and vegetables, but some nutrients remain in the pulp. So, don’t discard it! You can easily use the pulp to make flatbread, burger patties, or falafels.
